At the emergence of Global Compliance in September 2003, Mr. McCarter assumed the role of Vice President, Information Technology and Product Development. Prior to this, he served with Global Compliance’s former parent company, Pinkerton, Inc., in the position of Chief Technology Officer within Pinkerton’s Consulting and Investigations division. Previously McCarter held the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Information Systems Architect for Pinkerton Services Group.

Prior to joining Pinkerton, Mr. McCarter performed system design and project management on large-scale fluid dynamics and environmental remediation projects at the University of California at Berkeley. Formerly, he had served as an Information Systems Consultant for Six R Communications and BellSouth and also held the title of Equipment Engineering Manager for BellSouth.
